The object:
Castle Proesels is located near Voels, in the east of Bolzano, in South Tyrol. It is the ancestral castle of the Lords of Voels, first mentioned in 1279 as “castrum Presil”, but probably built around 1200. Another place nearby for photos is the Tierser Valley.

How to get there:
The village can be reached by car or public bus. By bus from Bolzano to Voels and from there directly to the castle.
